[It's late in the evening and thankfully Naruto is not yelling through the Pokegear for once. In fact he isn't anywhere near as energetic as he usually is.]

Y'know when you can't contact someone on the Pokegear thingies and some of their Pokemon have been sat in your room starin' at you most the evening, that usually means the person's gone right?

[He's gong to come looking for you to peek in on you. There wasn't much of anything to say, given that Naruto already seemed to have figured out the situation, but... he could show a little support.]

I have one of her pokemon too. You going to be okay Naruto?

[He's in his room again, idly playing with Pokemon. He tries to manage a smile, but it's weak.]

Yeah. It doesn't mean she's gone forever y'know. She'll be back.

[He'll just... invite himself in. For once, none of his own pokemon are hovering over him, and he came over to settle himself nearby, studying the blond.]

She probably will. I've heard that happens a lot here. Hey, Tsunade-hime's a prime example, so...

There's always that hope, right?

Besides, there's no way she'd miss out on this adventure with me and Dad, right?

[He perked up on a little grin.]

Exactly! See? I'm sure she'll be back in no time.

[He looks a little more cheery now. Slightly.]

Have you seen any of her Pokemon? There's still a couple missing.

I got one. It's a flier. Ah... I realized it was hers and now it kind of won't respond to anything but her name.

Erm. Sorry bout that.

Nah, it's alright. Tenten got one too, there's a few others missing so me and Sakura-chan are gonna look for them.

Have you thought about asking people who answer your network video?

...It makes me think she never actually got around to naming her, actually.

I'm not usually keen on naming these guys after people I know.

Yeah, some of 'em didn't have names. Just like how Sakura-chan still didn't name hers. [Even though Naruto had plenty of names for them, and they sort of answer to them now.]

...I tend to name mine while they're still eggs... usually...

I don't name mine til a while after they hatch, or I catch them. Most of them have got names that 'fit' them, y'know?

[He nodded once, then moved back out of the doorway.]

Good plan, I'll go check on Sensei.

[He gave him a wry smile, then a moment later was out the door.]
