[The video feed switches on to provide a blurred close up on someone's face. The user moves back slowly, allowing the image to come into focus as it shows a blond teenager sat on the ground, eying the device suspiciously.]

Hey- This thing even on? [A tap on the screen, the teen sighs, exasperated, before looking over to the Poliwag sat beside him.]

[Grumbling again as he shuffles in his spot, Naruto holds out the Pokegear a little further as he puts on one of his biggest, brightest smiles.]

Uzumaki Naruto, reporting for duty! Hehe. So, I really need to get home, everyone is counting on me, but the weird lady who thinks she's my Mom said I can't, so since I'm here I'm going to get all the badges and have everyone acknowledge me as the greatest Pokemon trainer there is, you'd better believe it!

[He hops up to his feet, facing the Poliwag once again.] C'mon Gama-chan! Training starts now!

[His speech is interrupted by the loud growling of an empty stomach.] Er... after we eat, that is. Does this place have ramen?

Greatest trainer ever? You've got a long way to go and a ton of competition.

[To prove his point, Naurto may spot his trusty Charizard, Flare, who's at a whopping 7' tall. He also appears to be bickering with a very skinny, big winged, and ornery Dragonite while a shades-wearing Blastoise chows down on some popcorn.]

But I guess I can't fault you on spirit.

[He's trying his best to look apathetic, even though holy crap that sure is a strong looking fire dragon in the background.]

Just don't train yourself so hard you wear yourself out. Being a good trainer's about more than just strength. You have to have balance and strategy for good measure.

[...And, oh boy. That Dragonite seems to be launching a Rock Slide attack. Pardon Riku as he darts out of the way, while Flare Iron Tails them into a bunch of dinky pebbles. Dumb Draco.]

I can go a lot longer than people realize!

[He thinks, until he finally realizes that he doesn't have those chakra reserves here.

As for the dragons though, Naruto looks confused.]

Aren't you meant to use them to attack enemies and not each other?

I don't train off of wild Pokémon. Too slow, and too unreliable. Instead, I let my team battle with each other.

[And speaking of battles, that sure is a burst of bluish energy flying towards Draco in the form of Dragon Pulse. Oooh, pretty!]

Oh! I get it, it's kind of like when I would train trying to compete against my own clones!

[s...ort of.]

[He moves to form the seal.. before visibly deflating as he remembers.]

They don't work here though, for some reason.

That's because nobody's got their powers here, just like any nonhumans turn into humans when they get dragged into this world.

Yeah, there are talking ponies here who got changed into humans, some idiotic turtle guy, not to mention a whole slew of aliens called trolls.

How can there even be different worlds in the first place.

Because space is vast and there's bound to be other worlds out there somewhere? I don't see what's so hard to believe about it.
