Oh! You should get her something to wear. [ A nod. ] We're kind of limited with clothing here, aren't we? It doesn't have to be anything big, er, probably best to not try a dress or anything. If you get it a size too large, she might take offense.

Something for her hair? [ Kushina has a lot of it. ] A clip?

[At least she probably knows his sleeping schedule (or waking schedule) pretty much depends on what he's got going on that day, or how excited he is for it. Since this was going to be his FIRST GYM BATTLE day, he sure was up at the crack of dawn for it 8|]

I mean I could cook food instead, but I only really know how to cook ramen, and Mom loves ramen, but she probably doesn't want it for breakfast y'know?

[ Laughing softly to herself as she listens. Some things never change no matter where they are and this serves as a relief. To have Naruto behave this way really sets her mind at ease and helps draw her back in to a normal life.

Sakura's near when he's ready having been surprisingly quick (or not as far as she might have made herself initially appear), toying with her hair to keep her hands busy. There's not much else for her to do besides wait, but when she does see him, her face lights up. ]

[He only needs to look around for a second before spotting her, waving once as he strides on over to her, stupid grin on his face as usual.]

So, you're a girl. [Duh.] You gotta help me pick out something my Mom will like.

[ Yes, she's a girl. Thank you very much for noticing, Naruto. This series is pretty harsh on girls after all. ]

[ What a dumb reason, but before she can open her mouth to call him out on it, another thought struck her. Of course Naruto wouldn't know his mother any better than she does so she gives a nod to agree instead. ]

You're going to have to make up for a lot of lost years so I'll help you make it the best!

[He was so ready to call her out then and complain about her not helping but oh- looks like she changed her mind.]

A gift. [ Holding up a finger as she explains. ] If we got the flowers now, they might snap or wilt while we're wandering around.

So the gift should be the first thing. Although finding something this last minute might be difficult.

Yeah-- Good idea. Okay, gift first! I think I saw a shop the other day that was full of hair stuff for girls.

What were you doing noticing shops like that? [ Instantly accusing him. ]

I didn't notice it on purpose, I just did!
