[It's the next day and they are finally here. Once he knew their estimated arrival time, Naruto had been hanging out of his bedroom window, keeping an eye out. Once he spots the Pokemon he's out and rushing to the front door, throwing it open and jogging outside.]

[It was one thing to just see him over a video. But to see this kid about a hair taller than she was running out to meet her... it took a few seconds to remind herself this was her son. She had been about to leap off several yards off the ground before she remembered there was no chakra here that would enable a landing without any broken bones. Impatient to get down, she settled for waving her arm furiously until they were a few feet off the ground. She jumped off and stumbled a bit when she landed, and all exhaustion from the long flight north was soon forgotten as she ran over to collect her son in her arms. As soon as she does though, the words start pouring out and they don't. stop. at all.]

Naruto! I'm so glad I finally get to see you! In person, I mean! Look at you! You're as tall as me! And your hair! It's almost as unruly as Minato's, y'know! Have you eaten dinner yet? I know it's getting late, so if you did, it's fine. But if you're hungry, I can make something for whoever hasn't eaten.

[The excited rambling is just gonna continue until he interrupts or finds a way to shut her up...]

[He's an excited Uzumaki, there's no way he wants her to shut up. In fact, it's the opposite. Practically falling into her arms, he hugs her tightly, arms gripping the clothing (and hair) on her back as he answers her.]

I didn't eat yet, I was waiting on you guys since I thought it would be cool to eat together y'know? Like a family, since we are a family, and now you're here, and it's really great, I missed you a lot!

Then we'll eat all together! But first we'll have to make something. Do we have ingredients for salt ramen? Or maybe we should have something simpler. But I would like salt ramen... it's been a while. Unless you want something else.
