[It's late in the evening and thankfully Naruto is not yelling through the Pokegear for once. In fact he isn't anywhere near as energetic as he usually is.]

Y'know when you can't contact someone on the Pokegear thingies and some of their Pokemon have been sat in your room starin' at you most the evening, that usually means the person's gone right?

Yeah, I mean I can come help, I know what Pokemon are hers at least. [Normally he may just show up anyway if he wanted to, but he's not really in that 'I'm Naruto and I do what I want' mood today.]

Yeah, now that you've mentioned it... I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking for here. I was just trying to find things out of the ordinary, but there's so many things that don't fit in this world...

[ Laughing nervously. ] Alright, you can come help me.

[He's a little more lively now that he's got something to do. Time to slip those shoes on!]

Are you somewhere close by? I'm coming down now.

[ Her plan to distract Naruto is so good that she's completely unaware of it oops. ]

I'm right outside the city just a few yards. It won't take long to meet up with you. [ Unless: ] You're going to make it here before I return, aren't you?

I'll be there in a minute! [In fact he's stepping outside the front door as he says that.]

[ She'll believe it. So much so that she's cutting off the PokeGear and shoving it into the pack that's permanently on her back. She's rarely seen without it even when she's asleep. ]

Hey! Over here! [ There she goes waving her arm wildly just in case he misses the red and pink that's her. ]

[He has his own Pokegear out- yelling at someone by the looks of it before he looks up and sees her, shutting it off and waving back before jogging over to her.]

[Despite everything, seeing a team mate does cheer him up a bit.]

[ Seeing Naruto perk up only causes her to feel the same kind of release from the disappointment of the day as she greets him with a friendlier wave. Lowering her arm, she tucks it in front of her to stretch while addressing him. ]

So how many do you think are missing still? We'll find each and every one of them.

[He relaxes a little, shoving his arms behind his head as he thinks.]

Well I got two, and Dad's got a few. Obito said he found one, and so did Tenten, so there's still a couple we haven't found yet. Two, I think. Or three. I haven't seen that Aerodactyl yet, or the tiger-looking one. I forgot its name.

Tiger-looking one... Growlithe? [ Sakura's not exactly the best at Pokemon, but she's learning enough to be pinpoint them by traits. ] That shouldn't be that difficult to find.

The Aerodactyl however... [ Glancing up towards the sky. ] That's going to be a problem. We can't fly.

Yeah, that's it! [Thank goodness you know more about these things than he does. He tends to remember their actual names, if anything at all, rather than what breed they are.]

...Actually, if we need it I've got some crows in my box thing that'll let us fly.

[Oh yeah- he suddenly remembers.] There's a fish, too.

A fish isn't going to help us fly, Naruto-kun. [ She's still thinking he means what he has in his "box thing" when he says that. ]

... Right? Can fish fly here?

No no no- Well, I dunno, maybe there is a fish that flies.

But I meant one of Mom's fish is still missing too. [Keep up with his faulty logic Sakura!!]

[ She's trying, but he makes it so difficult to at times! ]

Oh, she had a fish? [ Looking down at his stomach, then back at him. ]

Hey, are you only worried that someone else is going to eat it first?

I'm not gonna eat it. Sakura-chan.. that's weird. It's my Mom's!

[ Not sure if convinced. ] You eat your mom's cooking all the time, don't you?

Yeah but I don't eat her Pokemon! That's like cooking someone's cat!

Different world, different rules. [ Not by much thankfully. ]

So we'll need to check the sky and nearby bodies of water. What a pain. I don't have any Pokemon that can fly or swim either.

I don't have any that can swim, but I've got two that can fly. Itachi and Shisui.

[Yeah he has two crows named after dead Uchiha that's not weird or anything right.]

[ No, that is weird. Why do people name their Pokemon after other people?! ]

Those names... never mind, it shouldn't be that hard to fly over water.

...So should I go get 'em? [That was a yes, right?]

If you can order them to look over the water while we check the ground, it'd be a lot easier. [ Seriously Naruto....... ]

[ Yeah, she'll just wait right here all useless like.

Wasn't as though she did that for most of her appearances anyway. ]

[Poor Sakura. Anyway, it doesn't take him too long- he actually had enough common sense to fly one of the birds back to her, to make it faster HOW ABOUT THAT.]

Yosh! They're gonna go search over the water, yeah? And we'll keep looking here?
