[It is early in the evening when he finally begins to stir. A hand slowly reaches up to rub at tired eyes as they blink into focus, Naruto staring up at the ceiling above him. Immediately he frowns as memories of new and old jumble together. It had felt like a dream, though it couldn't have been. Why didn't he have chakra? Oh yeah- Johto.

Feeling the presence of someone else in the room distracts him as he turns his head to the side, immediately greeted with the sight of long, flowing red hair.]

....So when are we going to Violet? [You hit hard enough to knock him out Mom, he'll concede this time.]

[A little time later the Pokegear shows Naruto sat on a bed as an excitable Carnivine is wrapped around his shoulders, happily chewing on his head once again. Some things never change!]

So--yeah. I guess that thing happened to me, y'know, when people fall asleep and have the dreams? But they're not real dreams? [Descriptive as always. On that subject though, there are some people he wants to talk to. He should probably send them some private messages.]

Oi Neji. Sasuke. I wanna talk to you guys.

[...Or just do it that way instead. He has a pretty serious look about him for once, so they should probably get in contact with him.]

[With a huff he moves around and attempts to unwrap the Carnivine from around him. Since he has it on, he may as well ask that question he had before the coma stuff happened.]

I'm still gonna go check out that dragon place up here, the one Tenten told me about. What's the best dragon type out there? I have Ryūka-chan already, she's a Charizard now and she's grown really strong.

[ While normally she wouldn't have left the room, one of the text messages she received a couple days ago still bothered her. What if Naruto didn't wake up in the next few days? It was common enough for people to wake up after a week, sure, but there were those who slept for months... What if this time, he was going to be one of them? That bothered the medic-nin side of her and so she can be found sitting outside with an eager Eevee prancing around her feet. Her PokeGear is propped up by her knees as she reads through various other network posts of old. Reading about the others who reported when their friends had fallen out cold and woke up gave her some faith, but so far not all the numbers added up.

She's so focused on this she doesn't even notice when her Pokemon stops playing or if she's approached whatsoever. ]

[After waking up and getting the chance to speak to his parents, Naruto went searching for Sakura. He wanted to talk to her before some of the others and unlike them, knew that she had stayed close by. There was no need to try using the Pokegear to find her.

It doesn't take him long to spot her. Approaching silently, he doesn't say a word until he crouches down to look over her shoulder.]

[She had been in the middle of sewing up something else, her surprise project for Naruto already finished and folded up the dresser in his room. Sitting at the foot of his bed had meant she wasn't watching him save for occasional glances stolen over her shoulder. Her ears caught some occasional stirring, but she had brushed it off as Kyuubi, who had curled up somewhere near his legs. Or he had when she last looked. That's when Kushina looks up and sees him curled up with the Pokemon pile on the floor. When did he get there?

And then the question. The question that makes the needle stop mid-stitch. The question that sends her current project to the other corner of the bed as she flies around the bed to grab her son in a giant bear hug. When she speaks, her relief is audible. The anxiety and worry from a week's worth of waiting finally breaking.]

Naruto! You're alright!

[He had expected her to move once she realised, arms immediately wrapping around her once Kushina was close enough.]

Sorry for making you worry. [He did feel bad about that now that he realised he must have been out for a while. That is what always happens to people who have dream comas right?]

[Somehow, one of Sasuke's normal insults doesn't make it to his mouth. He's never seen Naruto looking this serious, not since they were on the same team... Whatever happened in Naruto's dream, it probably wasn't good.]

[As polite as ever, Sasuke. As he begins to record his reply that look of seriousness is still there, with the added hint of irritation. How is he supposed to explain this?

A few seconds pass before his lips curl up into the slightest of smiles, as he decides to just blurt it out. Whatever Sasuke was expecting him to say, it probably wasn't this.]

[ Xion pops up pleasantly. Bahamut the Garchomp and Tiamat the Hydreigon are behind her, with both dragons stretching their heads over her shoulders to stare at Naruto. ]

[He'd heard voices, and after peeking inside to see Naruto actually, well, conscious, he'd slid away without saying anything. Instead, he waited for Kushina to leave the room for a minute before poking his head in properly, eying him.]

[Ah... there would be the person he was honestly hoping he could avoid for a little while. The memories are still fresh in his mind of the guy he had just been attacking. The enemy, the one that had just dissed the Hokages. That had more or less killed his parents, killed friends, maybe his Sensei too because Kakashi hadn't come back.

And here he was, as a kid, saying hey.]

[It's all he can manage right now, he does not know how he is supposed to feel. It wasn't the same Obito, not yet, but he still felt angry.]

[If what he was told was accurate, Neji has a fair idea of why he would personally be called out. Thus, when the response comes, Neji is in a room alone. Whether or not he can handle privacy settings, he will leave the decision of locking it up to Naruto for the moment.

However, he'd rather not plainly discuss what may be discussed while Tenten physically stood nearby.]

I see that you didn't suffer a concussion after all.

[Yeah- for once, he makes sure it is actually locked. It wouldn't be good to blurt out something like this if Neji obviously a) did not know or b) did not want others to know.]

[Tenten'll wait a bit, after it seems like most everyone else has gotten out of the way, before finally making her way to talk to the older rookie, one hand resting on her hip, obvious relief in her eyes.]

About time you woke up. Neji made us fly all the way back from where I was going to challenge Seafoam 'cause of you.

[She flicks a hand in the air without looking away as something hardens in her gaze.]

So what's happening, in the future? That's what happened, isn't it?

[Sob Tenten why did you have to mention Neji again? He still hasn't come to terms with that yet, but he is certain she does not know yet.]

Just.... war stuff y'know? We were all fighting still.

[Obviously leaving out some pretty major details here, but it isn't his place to say. Not yet.]

I am personally very fond of my Dragonite, but I don't have many dragon types to be honest. However, Vodka is a very strong Pokemon. I almost always have him on my gym teams when facing the elite challenges.

Yeah! When I first got her she was really tiny, but a bit before the coma thing, she evolved into that. It's a really awesome Pokemon.

[As if it was on cue, a Zweilous head appeared from the side, bumping against Yumi's shoulder. A second later, Yumi let out a little yelp when the second head bit her hand.] William and William 2, quit it! Unless you want to deal with blind teething dragons, I'd stay away from these guys.

Dave is probably the guy you want to talk to when it comes to dragons, though. He's something of a collector-slash-specialist. I only have three dragons myself, but I am very fond of my Altaria! She's pretty strong and is quite possibly one of the best Pokémon to use as a pillow for naps.

[Clearly, this is the most important thing about Altaria.]

[If there was anyone worth placing bets on (as Tsunade would say), it would be Naruto. He'd come to be a pretty reliable fellow when the time called for it. Doing nothing just didn't suit him. Despite witnessing another of these comas already, along with Naruto's talent for overcoming almost any insurmountable obstacle in his way, that didn't alleviate Shino's concern for his friend.
